STRIPORAMA
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q:
What is Striporama about?
A:
Striporama is a celebration of striptease and
burlesque, retro erotica and glamour. Our main focus is on the
British strip scene, simply because that's our home turf and
it hasn't been covered very much. That's not to say we have
no interest in the international scene - far from it. We intend
to cover all aspects of exotic and erotic dancing from around
the world.
Q:
I am a promoter/performer/venue owner and would like to be featured
on the site. What should I do?
A:
Simply get in touch
and tell us what you do! We're interested in reviewing events
- be they one-offs or regular clubs - and want to have feedback
and contributions from the women in the business. If you have
tour dates, special events or any news you think we'd be interested
in, let us know... and send us JPEG images. We are also keen
to review as many venues as possible, so if you want to subject
your club to our critical scrutiny, let us know, and if it's
practical (i.e. within reasonable travelling distance from Striporama
HQ), we'll come along.
Q:
Are you covering male strippers?
A:
We're happy to include any news, reviews, club listings or galleries
relating to male strippers. If anyone out there is a connoisseur
and wants to provide coverage, get in touch!
Q:
I'm an upcoming model/dancer or simply someone who fancies doing
a spot of glam posing - how can I be featured on Striporama?
A:
Check out our Talent Search
pages and send us
your details. This applies to anyone simply looking to have
their photos published on the site and to those of you who want
to take part in our forthcoming video productions and live shows.
Q:
When are these videos and shows taking place?
A:
Right now we're talking to venues and planning a series of events,
both as stand-alone Striporama spectaculars and
as collaborations with other burlesque groups. We have a collaborative
effort in the works for May 2005 (in Nottingham) and hope to
follow up with regular events soon after. Check our news pages
regularly for details.
Q:
Do you have a mailing list?
A:
not yet, but hopefully coming soon. Anyone who wants to be informed
of events should, meanwhile, email
us and we'll be in touch once we have news.
